The barrier to entry for all loyalty partners in retail is integration with the POS at their customer (the merchant) stores. OneScan aims to lower that barrier to entry by centralizing all transactions in the cloud, and providing access to these transactions for authorized third parties and facilitating specific actions on these transactions (like payment, loyalty discounts and earning of rewards). This leaves POS systems to continue growing their core software without the added burden of integration to all kinds of third parties, while speeding up the delivery of loyalty and ordering apps.
